Crisis Services - you don’t need to wait for an emergency to call:
If you feel that you are in need of assistance, don’t hesitate to contact Montgomery County Adult Mobile Crisis 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 1-855-634-4673 (HOPE). Their services include 24 hour telephone counseling, peer support, support for drug/alcohol use or addiction, and help coping with traumatic experiences.
If you are concerned about your child or adolescent, call the Children’s Crisis Support Program 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 1-888-HELP-414.
If you are at risk of hurting yourself or someone else, you can call the Montgomery County Emergency Services hotline at (610) 279-6100, visit your nearest emergency room or dial 911.
If you have insurance and are looking for treatment for mental health or drug/alcohol treatment, the best place to start is with the back of your insurance card. Call the number on the back and they will help refer you to a provider in your network.
No insurance? No problem.
If you don’t have insurance and are a resident of Montgomery County, you can inquire about applying for Medical Assistance at the Montgomery County Assistance Office:

Additionally, there are six local community behavioral health centers throughout Montgomery County. These centers offer a wide range of services, including outpatient therapy and peer support for a variety of behavioral health issues.
